The Attendants

I figured in these next string of posts I'd start writing about what I already have nailed down for the wedding, in the order I arranged them. I've read some places that you should wait until 6-8 months before the wedding to choose your attendants, but Mr. B and I wanted to choose ours ASAP.

The Bridesmaids...since we have 7, I have given them appropriate pseudonyms:

1.) MOH-aka Grumpy: my little/only sister. She's 15, so I guess that could cause some problems with planning a shower/bachelorette party, but she's my sister. Who else would I want right next to me during my special day?

2 & 3.) Two of my sorority sisters-Doc is getting her PhD in Columbus and Sleepy is an aerospace engineer in NASA ( I know, I have impressive friends!). She's sleepy because she's so busy.  I have/will be a BM in each of these girls weddings!

4, 5, & 6.) My three best friends in dental school-->Bashful, Happy, and Sneezy.  Bashful is a bit quiet until you get to know her.  Happy is an eternal optimist.  Sneezy is allergic to, well, life :(.  I'm in Happy's wedding this June.

7.) My cousin, Dopey.  She's Dopey because she's my cousin and will not take offense to the name because she loves me.

I know that it's a larger wedding party, but I'm so excited that my friends from different periods of my life can spend my day with me. I wish that I can have more, but I realize that could be a bit ridiculous...

Mr. B is having 7 attendants...4 good friends from high school and 3 good friends from work who also cycle with him. In fact, he has a mountain bike race with some of them tomorrow and is going with some of his groomsmen.

I'll leave you with a few pictures of the bridal party...

Thanks for reading! How do you guys feel about mismatched (numerically) bridal parties? Do they look completely lopsided, or does it matter?
